The SIUC Center for International Education (CIE) is proud to announce Southern Illinois University’s inaugural participation in International Education Week (November 12 -17, 2017) sponsored by the U. S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education. We invite faculty, staff and the entire campus community to join us in supporting the critical role that international education and cross-cultural competencies play in SIU’s research innovation and student success.  This year’s events and workshops will focus on campus internationalization and the tools and resources available to faculty, staff and students through the SIUC Center for International Education. Please encourage faculty and staff participation.  And don’t forget the cultural extravaganza of International Festival which will be held during its regularly scheduled week in early February.
