The Augusta & Jimmy Auerbach Endowed Memorial Scholarship
The award is designated forcurrentstudents who can prove serious financial need and have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement (G.P.A. of at least 3.25), leadership ability and university/community public service. Inga Sollberger Grant
This monetary award is given by the International Friends Club to assist a needy international student, dependent spouse, or child with medical or dental bills. Apply at any time during the year. Application(pdf) Contact: Elaine Conrad, econrad@siu.edu.

Mary Wakeland Scholarship
This $500 scholarship is awarded in recognition of outstandingvolunteer serviceto the campus and the community. It is not based on high academic achievement or financial need. Apply during April 15 - June 1 every year.Guidelines (pdf) Application(pdf) Contact: Elaine Conrad, econrad@siu.edu.

Tuition Awards
These awards are available for the academic year on a competitive basis. All applications must be filed at the CIE office in person between the Monday after Spring Break through the Friday before the summer term begins. Applications for the Summer, Fall and/or the following Spring semesters are only accepted once a year during this time. Short-Term Emergency Loans
Available through CIE in cooperation with the Office of Student Work and Financial Assistance, these $100 -$550 loans must be repaid within 30 days and applicants must have a confirmed source of funds from which the loan can be repaid. These loans are for major emergencies only.

Undergraduate Student-to-Student (STS) Grants
Based on academic achievement and completion of at least one semester at SIU, STS grants range from $100 to $300 for one semester. Applications begin at the beginning of each semester. Application (pdf) Contact: Elaine Conrad, econrad@siu.edu
