If you cannot move directly into your apartment or on-campus room when you arrive in Carbondale then you will need to arrange temporary housing. Sometimes the university housing office does not allow students to move in until after orientation. Since you must attend orientation, you will need to book a hotel.

The Super 8 Hotel in Carbondale offers a special reduced rate for new international students to live in until their permanent room is available.
