The Center for International Education is the institutional office that promotes and coordinates international activities on the Southern Illinois University Carbondale campus. Among the responsibilities of this office are:
- International Student Admissions: This is the central contact point for recruiting and processing applications for prospective international students.
- Study Abroad Programs: Study Abroad Programs coordinates opportunities for students who are interested in studying outside the United States, including programs, exchanges and overseas scholarships.
- International Student and Scholar Support: The International Students and Scholars page is for international students and scholars admitted or currently enrolled at SIU. The International Students and Scholars (ISS) office coordinates activities for international students and scholars including regional community programs of the International Friends Club (IFC).
- International Partnerships and Development: International Development is the central contact point for linkages, faculty Fulbrights, and college international development activities.
